Highly revered Nigerian Christian minister Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his followers will be handing out 30 million copies of his teaching prayer book across Nigeria in honor of the country’s 57th independence anniversary.
Pastor Oyakhilome’s book, Rhapsody of Realities, which has been distributed in more than 240 countries in more than 800 languages including Afrikaans, Arabic, Croatian, Dutch, English, Spanish, Swahili and more, has been created to develop spiritual growth and advancement.

Rhapsody of Realities has been dispersed across the country from the presidency and government officials to schools, hospitals and residential neighborhoods. Additionally the book has been given to members of the military, to those at football matches, to those on the streets of Nigeria, to those in prisons and more.
Going along with this year’s theme, prayer rallies, community, sponsorship and educational projects have also been put in place. Partners wear the colors green and white, which are a symbol of the Church Embassy, in celebration of the nation’s independence.
What’s more Pastor Oyakhilome has set up an international online prayer conference that will be held on November 3 and 4. The Rhapsody online congregation will include the joint reading of the Rhapsody of Realities. The event will run 24 hours for those who want to begin or continue their passage with the Church Embassy.
Also in November, Pastor Oyakhilome will host the International Pastors’ and Partners’ Conference 2017 from November 13 to the 19 at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Lagos Nigeria.
The conference brings together leaders in ministry and others to encourage, commemorate and prepare them with God’s word. Pastor Oyakhilome looks forward to delivering 250 million copies of Rhapsody of Realities this year.
Pastor Oyakhilome was born on December 7, 1961, the eldest son of the family of T. E. Oyakhilome. He began his ministry as an undergraduate at the Bendel State University now known as Ambrose Alli University. He also received an honorary doctorate from Ambrose Alli University and Benson Idahose University, according to en.wikipedia.org.
Extending over more than 25 years, Pastor Oyakhilome’s current ministry includes officiating a network of Christ Embassy Churches with branches in Nigeria, South Africa, Canada, England and the United States. He also established Innercity Missions for Children, LoveWorld Books and Healing School and owns several Christian teaching channels such as LoveWorld TV and LoveWorld SAT.
His publishing company, LoveWorld Publications, publishes a monthly devotional called Rhapsody of Realities.
Pastor Oyakhilome established the first 24-hour Christian satellite network in Africa and makes use of the network, also known as LoveWorld, to deliver messages of salvation worldwide. He is the host of the television program, Atmosphere for Miracles, which focuses on the power of healing.
He sends messages to his Internet followers that include more than one million on Twitter and approximately 1.5 million followers on Facebook. He also has his online messenger which is called KingsChat and his website which is called Rhapsody of Realities.
In addition to activities in newspapers, magazines, satellite TV and a local television station, his diversified interests also take in a record label, hotels and real estate.
